The ‘Family portrait’ archive includes iconographic material collected for the project FAMILIA photographs and family short films in the Lazio region, 2008. The remaining part of the archive includes private material. The pictures are a starting point for a free elaboration on the subject. The single image can be transformed into fantastic and manifold identities through a process of camouflaging, evocation and re-interpretation.
